Ulrichschule, Hegelstraße 2

Der Rohbau der Ulrichschule wurde im Dezember 1962 fertiggestellt. Der Name Ulrichschule war bereits am 5. Juli 1963 festgelegt worden. Am 28. Januar 1964 fand die Einweihung der Schule statt. Danach konnte sie bezogen werden. Das Schuljahr 1964/1965 war das erste, das komplett im neuen Schulgebäude unterrichtet wurde.

Das Schuljahr begann am 9. April 1964 mit 298 Schülerinnen und Schülern in acht Klassen:
1. Schuljahr: Frau Jöpen (52 Schülerinnen und Schüler)
2. Schuljahr: Fräulein Hillringhaus [Anm. d. Red.: "Fräulein" war früher die übliche Anrede für unverheiratete Frauen]
3. Schuljahr: Herr Urlings
4. Schuljahr: Fräulein Gawellek, später Frau Schmitz
5. Schuljahr: Herr Schurf
6.-8. Schuljahr Mädchen: Fräulein Schräermeyer
6.-8. Schuljahr Jungen: Herr Honings

Das Foto-Nr. 2 zeigt den Baubeginn im Jahr 1961. Die Einweihungsfeier im Januar 1964 zeigt das Foto-Nr. 3.
