Der Data Recorder war eine Auftragsarbeit für Commodore und hatte eine ähnliche Spezifikation wie die Coomodore Datasette 1531.
Das heißt, sie war zum Anschluss an die Commodore-Heimcomputerserie 264 (C16, C116, Plus/4) gedacht.
