Er verließ seine Heimat am 18. Nov. 1915 und
diente seinem Vaterlande in aufopfernder,
treuer Pflichterfüllung im Besatzungsdienste
in Rußland: bei Mitau und Riga.
Infolge Demobilmachung wurde er im Nov. 1918
ehrenvoll aus dem Heeresdienst entlassen.
