Der Wandteller besitzt einen glatten Spiegel und eine leicht gemuldete Fahne mit einem gerillten Rand. Die Vorderseite ist teilweise verkupfert und die Rückseite vergoldet. Im Spiegel befindet sich ein Dekor aus fein gravierten Perlmutteinlagen, welche blühende Kirsch- und Bambuszweige mit fliegenden Schmetterlingen im japonisierenden Stil darstellen. Der Fond zeigt ein florales Ornament im historischen Stil mit einer mittig gesetzten und durch Verkupferung dominierender Blattranke.
